About Us
Green’s Aquatic Services was established in Spring 2008. From an early age, Daniel Green, the proprietor, has had a strong interest in all things aquatic. Having been a keen fish keeper for most of his life, he has gained much experience in keeping, breeding and showing a wide range of ornamental fish species.
At the age of eighteen he moved from his hometown of Bolton, Greater Manchester to Winchester, Hampshire to study for a B.Sc. Honours Degree in Aquaculture and Fishery Management.
Having graduated in September 2004 he was then employed as fry unit manager for Test Valley Trout, one of Southern England’s largest Rainbow Trout farms.
He later moved back to Northern England where he worked in the ornamental aquatics industry for several years, being employed by various aquatics retailers, including; Cascade Water Gardens, Springbank Koi, Maidenhead Aquatics and Britain’s Aquatic Superstore.
He has also since gained additional qualifications in the way of advanced diplomas in the subjects of; Water Quality, Filtration, Fish Biology and Fish Health.
Green's Aquatic Services office is based in Westhoughton, near Bolton, Greater Manchester.
Green's Aquatic Services is fully insured
for both public and products liability.
We are also a member of the Ornamental Aquatic
Trade Association (OATA) and abide by the
letter and spirit of it's code of conduct.
